MUSEUM ARTIFACT ON DISPLAY Visit the West Parry Sound District Museum on Tower Hill to view this authentic 70+ year old drum from the Marching Band of the Algonquin Regiment. The regiment was formed from volunteers in Northern Ontario, including men from West Parry Sound District. During World War II and as part of the 4th Canadian Armoured Divison, the Algonquins saw service in the liberation of France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Until September, the Museum is open 9am-7pm Monday through Friday and 10am-5pm Saturday & Sunday. See you there!

LEARN TO SAIL! Best Volunteer-Run Sailing School in Canada 2003, Sail Parry Sound CYA-certified instructors offer Youth Lessons all summer long, Adult Lessons upon request. Saturday Afternoon Sailing welcomes the public at the west end of Waubuno Road next to the Fitness Trail. A world-renowned sailing venue, Sail Parry Sound has hosted regattas including a World Championship, sharing our sparkling Georgian Bay waters and brisk winds with international sailors. Founding president Marianne King-Wilson was recently inducted into the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame in recognition of Sail Parry Sound's volunteer contribution to sport, youth and the community.
